This prompted the issuance of Red Flag Warning due to low relative humidity and dry fuels. In general, peak winds kept to around 45 mph or lower, but a couple of sites recorded gusts in excess of 60 mph. Douglas Pass, a notoriously windy location on the West Slope, had the highest peak gust of 67 mph.
