...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DELTA AND WEST
CENTRAL GUNNISON COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM MDT...

At 646 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Paonia, or 30 miles north of Montrose, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Paonia, Hotchkiss, Bowie, and Somerset.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 92 between mile markers 16 and 24.
 Colorado 133 between mile markers 1 and 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
