...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL RIO BLANCO COUNTY
THROUGH 445 PM MDT...

At 418 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Meeker, or 43 miles northwest of Glenwood Springs, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Meeker.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 28 and 44.
 Colorado 64 between mile markers 66 and 67, and between mile markers
72 and 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
