Strong southerly winds will persist this evening and overnight. Dangerous travel conditions are likely in eastern Colorado and far northwest Kansas, especially on east west routes such as Interstate 70, where cross winds will be strongest. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... A cold front moving southward through the Tri-State area Tuesday morning will stall over central and southwest Kansas during the afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms may develop along and behind the front in northwest Kansas late Tuesday afternoon and evening.
