...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN RED WILLOW COUNTY
THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southwest of McCook, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Red
Willow County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
