Nearshore waters from Washington Island to Sturgeon Bay...
Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Sturgeon
Bay...

The thunderstorms have moved out of the warned area and no longer
pose a significant threat to boaters.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for
east central Wisconsin...and the adjacent waters of Lake Michigan.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT...

For the following areas...

Nearshore and open waters of Lake Michigan from Sturgeon Bay to
Sheboygan...

At 350 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 18 nm southeast of Whitefish
Point to 22 nm east of Manitowoc to 18 nm southeast of Rawley Point
Light to 6 nm southwest of Cleveland, moving southeast at 60 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural
         damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly
         higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Rawley Point Light, Manitowoc, and Two Rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
