Mostly cloudy skies and light rain prevailed across the region
during the late afternoon as a warm front gradually lifted north
into the forecast area. Isolated thunder was reported near east-
central Wisconsin. 4 PM temperatures ranged from the low 60s near
the lakeshore and across areas that received rainfall to the low
70s in the Fox Valley.

Thunderstorm chances will continue overnight as the warm front
continues to move north. Periods of moderate to heavy rain will
be possible. Low temperatures are expected to range from the mid
50s in the far north along the UP border to the mid 60s in the Fox
Valley.

Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected to move through the
area through Saturday evening, bringing torrential rainfall to
central and east-central Wisconsin. Expect a widespread 1 to 3
inches of rain, with locally higher amounts possible in the Fox
Valley. A Flood Watch is in effect until 7 PM on Saturday.
Additionally, some storms may become strong to severe during the
late afternoon and evening. Main threats with stronger storms will
be damaging winds, flash-flooding, and isolated tornadoes.
