A few showers did push into central WI overnight, but quickly
fizzled out as they moved east. Otherwise mostly cloudy skies
overnight with temperatures as of 3am falling into the lower 50s
across the Northwoods to the middle 60s in the Fox Valley.

Rain showers are expected to return to central WI this morning and
will spread east throughout the day. Periods of heavy rain may be
possible at times, particularly along a warm front that is
expected lift north and stall around highway 29 this afternoon. A
few stronger thunderstorms may also be possible this afternoon
south of the warm front with strong wind gusts and heavy rain the
main hazards. Areas that experience the heaviest rainfall today
may see ponding on roads and minor low-land flooding. Temperatures
today are forecast to peak in the upper 60s to middle 70s. across
the region.
