...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN HABERSHAM AND RABUN
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 353 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles west of Clayton, or near Lake Burton, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clayton, Mountain City, Tiger, Tallulah Falls, Lake Rabun, Lake
Burton, Lakemont, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Black Rock Mountain
State Park, and Batesville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
