FOR NORTHEASTERN CABARRUS AND SOUTHEASTERN ROWAN COUNTIES...

At 1221 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Kannapolis, or 5 miles southwest of Rockwell, moving northeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
