Rain chances will continue to increase heading into this evening as a tropical disturbance to our southwest continues to push towards the coast. Rain could become heavy at times for locations south of the I-10 corridor, particularly around Matagorda Bay. This will be accompanied by increasing east to southeast winds, with wind gusts along the coast reaching upwards of 30 mph at times. Conditions will begin to improve on Thursday as rainfall pushes out of the area.
