937 FNUS54 KHUN 132010 FWFHUN Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama National Weather Service Huntsville AL 310 PM CDT Thu Jun 13 2024 .DISCUSSION... An area of high pressure should stay in place through Saturday. This should help to limit rain chances and transport winds (primarily less than 5 mph) through Saturday. Mixing heights should remain high (5-8kft) both days. RH values should drop to between 35-40% both days. Wetting rains are not expected on fuels. Dispersions should be fair on Friday, before improving on Saturday. Fog potential over the next few days: Primarily patchy fog is expected to develop overnight across portions of northern AL. Fog is expected to become more isolated in nature late Saturday night. Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected due to light winds and high RH afternoon values.
