The Flood Warning is cancelled for a portion of Central Kansas,
including the following area, McPherson.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Central Kansas, including the following
  county, Marion.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1021 PM CDT, emergency management reported ongoing
    flooding in Marion County, mostly in low lying areas and in
    the vicinity of creeks and rivers. Between 2 and 5 inches of
    rain fell last night and this morning.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hillsboro, Marion, Peabody, Florence, Goessel, Burns,
    Lincolnville, Ramona, Lehigh, Durham, Tampa, Lost Springs,
    Marion Lake and Pilsen.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
