This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a chance for severe storms across portions of central
Kansas later this afternoon into the early evening hours. The
strongest storms will be capable of producing quarter sized hail and
wind gusts up to 65 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A few storms will be possible Thursday late afternoon and early
evening for locations along and especially southeast of the Kansas
Turnpike. The stronger storms will be capable of half dollar size
hail along with 60 mph downburst winds.

Better chances for more numerous thunderstorms area-wide will
increase late Friday through the weekend. Strong to marginally
severe storms will be possible along with locally heavy rainfall.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
