This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms this afternoon, mainly across south central
Kansas and the Flint Hills. The storms are not expected to be strong
or severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

There is a chance for thunderstorms Saturday evening, mainly east
of I-135. A few storms could be strong to marginally severe,
capable of dime to quarter size hail and 50 to 60 mph wind gusts.

Heat indices around 100 degrees will affect most of the area during
the afternoon hours on Saturday and Sunday. Heat indices up to 110
degrees are possible Monday and Tuesday afternoon.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms may return for Tuesday evening
through Thursday morning next week. A few strong storms will be
possible.

Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
