This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Evening into Tonight

Early evening heat indices will be around 100 degrees in southern
Kansas.

A few isolated thunderstorms are possible early this evening in
southern Kansas. Large hail and damaging winds cannot be ruled out
for any storm that is able to form.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected from west to east
late this evening and overnight. Severe weather is possible with
the primary threat being 60 to 80 mph straight-line damaging winds
along with areas of heavy rain and localized flooding. The greatest
threat for severe weather will be generally west of the Flint
Hills.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A few non-severe thunderstorms could linger into Sunday morning with
additional potential late Sunday night into early Monday morning in
portions of north central and south central Kansas.

Slight chances for off-and-on thunderstorms are possible Tuesday
through the end of the week.

Spotter activation may be needed this evening through tonight.
