This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms are possible today, mainly across south
central Kansas and the Flint Hills. The storms are not expected to
be strong or severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

There is a chance for thunderstorms Saturday evening, mainly along
and east of I-135, between I-70 and U.S. Highway 54. A few storms
could be strong to marginally severe, capable of dime to quarter
size hail and 50 to 60 mph wind gusts.

Heat indices around 100 degrees will affect most of the area during
the afternoon hours on Saturday and Sunday. Heat indices around 105
degrees can be expected on Monday afternoon and from 105 to 110
degrees on Tuesday afternoon.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms may return for Tuesday evening
through Thursday morning next week. A few strong storms will be
possible.
