A line of storms tracked across north central and northeast Kansas
overnight, producing gusty winds and brief heavy rain. A couple
hours prior to sunrise, the storms were moving into northwest
Missouri. Early morning temperatures ranged from the middle 70s
across southern Kansas, to the middle 60s over the north central
portion of the Sunflower State.

Showers and storms will be possible this morning across northern
Missouri into Iowa. Meanwhile, an upper level disturbance will
bring additional showers and storms this afternoon and evening to
eastern Nebraska into Western Iowa along with a few storms across
central and southwest Kansas. Severe storms will be possible with
this activity, especially across eastern Nebraska and Iowa.

Highs today are expected to range from the upper 80s across
northern Nebraska to the upper 90s across north central Oklahoma
and southern Kansas. Look for overnight lows to range from the
middle 50s across western Nebraska to the 70s from Oklahoma
through eastern Kansas.
