Temperatures across the central portions of the United States this
afternoon reside in the 80s and 90s. A few showers were decaying
across central Kansas early this afternoon, and additional
isolated showers and storms are expected to develop this evening
into tonight across portions of western Kansas and western
Nebraska. This activity will gradually progress across Nebraska
and portions of northern Kansas late tonight into Tuesday morning.
Lows tonight across the central plains will be in the 60s.

For Tuesday, lingering showers and storms will dissipated over the
Missouri River Valley Tuesday morning. Then, scattered storms are
forecast to develop across the High Plains and move eastward into
portions of western Kansas and western Nebraska by the evening
hours. Tuesday afternoon`s highs will generally be in the upper
80s to low 90s across the region. Showers and storms will continue
to push eastward across Kansas and Nebraska Tuesday night into
Wednesday morning. Lows overnight Tuesday night will, once again,
be in the 60s across the region.
