Under mostly cloudy conditions, scattered showers and isolated
storms were impacting parts of Kansas. Slow moving storms were
resulting in some pockets of heavy rain. Early morning
temperatures ranged from the mid and upper 50s in western Kansas
to the mid and upper 60s in central and eastern Kansas.

Scattered showers and storms will remain in the forecast for parts
of central and eastern Kansas today. With some breaks in the
clouds, afternoon high temperatures are expected to reach the mid
and upper 70s while a few locations in southwest Kansas see highs
in the low 80s.

Showers and storms will redevelop across the high plains of
western Kansas this evening and tonight while spreading eastward
into parts of central Kansas through the night. Low temperatures
are expected to fall into the mid and upper 50s over western
Kansas while those in eastern Kansas bottom out in the lower 60s.
