...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY
THROUGH 445 AM CDT...

At 417 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm just
east of Tyro, or 7 miles west of Coffeyville, moving southeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Coffeyville, Dearing, and Tyro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
southeastern Kansas.
