...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN BUTLER COUNTY...

At 1013 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles south of Burns to 10 miles east of Potwin to 8
miles north of El Dorado, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported quarter size hail 8 miles
         north of El Dorado at 1013 PM.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
El Dorado, Potwin, Burns, Cassoday, El Dorado Lake, and El Dorado
State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
