...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN HARVEY...NORTHWESTERN BUTLER AND SOUTHERN MARION
COUNTIES...

At 829 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles west of Burns to near Elbing to 6 miles west
of Whitewater, moving south at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Emergency management. At 825 PM CDT, a 60 mph wind gust was
         reported in Peabody.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Peabody, Whitewater, Florence, Potwin, Walton, Elbing, Burns, and
Newton Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Strong winds are causing blowing dust and reduced visibility. Drive
with caution if traveling.
