...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL MCPHERSON...SOUTHEASTERN RENO...NORTHWESTERN
SEDGWICK AND WESTERN HARVEY COUNTIES...

At 724 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Moundridge to Halstead to near Andale, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Valley Center, Maize, Halstead, Moundridge, Sedgwick, Colwich,
Burrton, Mount Hope, Andale, Bentley, Cheney State Park, and Cheney
Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
