Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
328 PM CDT Fri Sep 20 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front pushing through central and southeast IL will bring
a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms, lingering in
southeast IL this evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are
possible Saturday and Saturday evening. More widespread showers
and a chance of thunderstorms will occur from overnight Saturday
night into Monday, with cooler temperatures arriving next week.
Poor ventilation rates are expected through Saturday over
central and southeast IL, except north of a Beardstown to Champaign
line where vent rates will be fair due to faster transport winds.
