...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SANGAMON COUNTY
THROUGH 145 PM CDT...

At 122 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Berlin, or 15 miles west of Springfield, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Chatham, Sherman, Rochester, New Berlin, Loami, Illinois
State Fairgrounds, Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, Jerome, Southern
View, Leland Grove, Grandview, Spaulding, Clear Lake, Curran, and
Berlin.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 55 between mile markers 87 and 105.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 81 and 105.
