...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LEAKE...SOUTHEASTERN
RANKIN...NORTHWESTERN NEWTON...NORTHWESTERN SMITH...SCOTT AND
SOUTHERN NESHOBA COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 PM CDT...

At 1031 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Carthage to near Branch to Star. Movement
was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...

  Forest, Polkville, Pulaski, Steele,
  and Dowdville around 1045 PM CDT.
  Puckett and Sebastopol around 1050 PM CDT.
  Dixon around 1055 PM CDT.
  Homewood, Prospect, and White Oak around 1100 PM CDT.
  Philadelphia, Conehatta, and Neshoba around 1105 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
