.DISCUSSION...

Breezy east northeasterly winds 15-25 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph
expected today as strong high pressure remains northeast of the
region under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Isolated to scattered
showers with a brief heavy downpour is possible late this morning
and again early to mid afternoon as coastal showers move onshore
at times. Tonight, a weak low will approach the Northeast FL coast
from the southeast with rounds of showers and embedded storms
moving onshore from the Atlantic waters. Breezy conditions will
persist with northeasterly winds 15-25 mph with gusts around
30 mph and higher gusts to 35-40 mph possible in heavier showers.
