West southwest flow over the area will deliver an early start to Thunderstorms today with the Gulf coast seabreeze moving northeast into the site area and developing scattered/numerous thunderstorms from noon until the mid afternoon hours. Gusty erratic winds and locally heavy rainfall is possible in storms. Prevailing winds outside of storms will be from the west this morning, then turn southwesterly this afternoon 5-10 mph behind the Gulf seabreeze with marginally high dispersions due to elevated west to southwest transport winds. Tonight, most thunderstorm activity will end by sunset over the site with an isolated storm possible until midnight with light southwest winds 3-5 mph under mostly cloudy skies. An early start to thunderstorm activity expected again on Friday in the southwest flow regime ahead of a nearly stalled cold front over the deep south with the Gulf coast seabreeze pressing inland and kicking off scattered/numerous thunderstorms by midday into much of the afternoon with light southwest winds and good dispersions. .REST OF TODAY...
