Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
553 AM EDT Wed Jun 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...Heat and humidity will remain in place today ahead
of an approaching cold front. More widespread rain chances in the
form of showers and some thunderstorms return through this evening
with the arrival of the next cold front. Some of the storms could
produce strong to damaging wind gusts. Cooler air briefly returns
behind the cold front on Thursday, before heat again builds late in
the week. Another cold front should bring chances for showers or a
thunderstorm over the upcoming weekend.
