...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KNOX AND SOUTHERN
CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...

At 536 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cottongin, or 7 miles south of Manchester, moving southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tedders, Ice Cliff, Park Valley, Cottongin, Haven, Brightshade,
Gibbs, Ashers Fork, House, Scalf, Salt Gum, Ogle, Hammond, Erose,
Lipps, Mills, Woollum, Fletcher, Sprule, and Fount.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
