...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN FLOYD AND
SOUTHWESTERN PIKE COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM EDT...

At 1256 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Blue Moon, or 9 miles west of Pikeville, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pikeville, Coal Run Village, East McDowell, Fishtrap Lake, Coal Run,
Garden Village, Printer, Aluba, McDowell, Betsy Layne, Dorton,
Honaker, Beaver, Virgie, Buckhorn Hollow, Blue Moon, Osborn, Orkney,
Myra, and Hunter.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 U.S. Highway 23 in Floyd County near mile marker 1.
 U.S. Highway 23 in Pike County between mile markers 2 and 29, and
near mile marker 32.
