Through 1100 am, scattered showers will move northeast at 5 to 10
knots through the distant Straits, deep Gulf, and nearshore waters of
the Upper Keys. This activity is capable of moderate to heavy
downpours reducing visbilities, and wind gusts of near 25 knots.
Island communities of the Upper Keys could see rainfall amounts of
a couple hundredths of an inch.
