...NWS Damage Survey for 06/22/2024 North Platte Wind Event...

.A small line of thunderstorms moved across northern Lincoln
county during the early morning hours of Saturday 06/22/2024. The
tail end of the line traveled eastward through the I-80 corridor
and produced a wet microburst in the city of North Platte
including the airport area.

Fatalities: 0
Injuries: 0

Start Time: 3:00 AM Central

A storm survey conducted by the National Weather Service in North
Platte revealed widespread damage across eastern portions of
North Platte, including the airport area, was the result of a wet
microburst. The peak wind speed from the survey was estimated at
100 MPH.
