...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PERKINS...
SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN AND NORTHEASTERN HAYES COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM
CDT/615 PM MDT/...

At 631 PM CDT/531 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Elsie, or 20 miles east of Grant, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wallace, Elsie, Dickens, and Grainton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT/900
