Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
410 AM CDT Tue Jun 11 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Another round of showers and thunderstorms are expected today as
another disturbance approaches aloft while a weak surface cold
front slips into the adjacent coastal waters. The front is
forecast to remain draped over the coastal waters into mid-week before
lifting back northward, resulting in more possible rainfall for
Wednesday. Drier conditions will work into the region behind the
front with dewpoints in the low to mid 60s north of I-10 by
Thursday.
