Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
308 PM CDT Tue Jun 11 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms will mainly
be confined to the I-10 corridor southward to the coast ahead of
a weak surface cold front. By tonight and Wednesday, the frontal
boundary is expected to slip southward into the coastal waters,
with most of the rainfall expected in the coastal waters. Expect
drier air as drier air filters southward with dewpoints in the
low to mid 60s north of I-10 by Thursday.
