.DISCUSSION...

Areal coverage of showers and storms will continue to diminish
today with convection initially developing over nearshore waters
and pressing inland. Breezy conditions today near the Louisiana
coast with winds being less impactful elsewhere. Coverage of
rainfall over the next several days will be much more limited than
earlier in the week. Northern portions of the area may remain dry
through the weekend.
