.DISCUSSION...

A weak front will move into the portions of Southwest
Mississippi and Southeast Louisiana today and then stall
through Wednesday.  By Thursday, the front will be pushed
offshore as a tropical cyclone moves through the southern and
eastern Gulf. By the weekend, dry weather returns as high
pressure builds into the region.
