...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WOODFORD...SOUTHERN
SCOTT...SOUTHWESTERN BOURBON AND FAYETTE COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM
EDT...

At 529 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Georgetown, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lexington, Georgetown, Paris, Meadowthorpe, Thoroughbred Acres,
Cardinal Hill, Cadentown, Bryan Station, Northland, and Highlands.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
