This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk this morning, and again tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this morning ahead of a cold
front which will push from west to east across the area through
midday. Thunderstorms are most likely generally southeast of a
Peru to Chicago line. A few storms early this morning may produce
brief heavy downpours, though no severe weather is expected.

Another band of showers and isolated thunderstorms will track
across the area tonight. Again, no severe weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

  Moving toward the northeast at 35 mph.
