...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL COOK COUNTY THROUGH
730 AM CDT...

At 700 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Glen Ellyn, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chicago, Cicero, Hammond, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Oak Park, Calumet City,
West Town, Chicago Lawn, Englewood, Austin, South Shore, Roseland,
Lincoln Park, Bridgeport, Chicago Loop, South Lawndale, Lake View,
Irving Park, Midway Airport, Burbank, Melrose Park, Maywood, Blue
Island, and Dolton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
northeastern Illinois...and northwestern Indiana.
