...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN ADAMS...MARION AND SOUTHERN LEWIS COUNTIES...

At 535 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Canton to near Ewing to Steffenville, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported 60 mph winds in Ewing.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Quincy, Hannibal, Palmyra, Quincy Regional Airport, Warren, Payson,
La Grange, Fall Creek, Ewing, Steffenville, Maywood, Philadelphia,
Burton, Ursa, Taylor, Coatsburg, Columbus, Marblehead, Paloma, and
Fowler.

This also includes Wakonda State Park.

This includes Interstate 172 between exits 2 and 19.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
St Louis.
