...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to two feet of inundation above ground level in low-
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 4.2 feet, the boardalk at Annapolis City Dock is
  underwater. Floodwaters also are affecting numerous roads in
  Annapolis and on the Naval Academy Campus, along with
  structures throughout the neighboring area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next two high tides at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy
  are at 9:27 AM this morning and 11:09 PM this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to two feet of inundation above ground level in low-
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia, Arlington
  County, and the City of Alexandria.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...The unprotected area on the Southwest Waterfront at
  the DC Seafood Market is expected to flood. Water is expected to
  approach parts of the Hains Point Loop Road, but it will likely
  be closed. Water is expected to approach buildings near King
  Street and Union Street in Alexandria.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet above
  normal. The next two high tides at Alexandria are at 1:17 PM
  this afternoon and 1:33 AM overnight. The next two high tides at
  Washington Channel are at 12:59 PM this afternoon and 1:15 AM
  overnight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If

TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to two feet of inundation above ground level in low-
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Saint Mary`s County.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EDT Tuesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George
  Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the east,
  inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off Saint Mary`s
  River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next two high tides at Coltons Point are at 7:41 AM
  this morning and 7:57 PM this evening. The next two high tides
  at Point Lookout are at 6:51 PM this evening and 2:16 AM
  overnight. The next two high tides at Piney Point are at 7:05
  AM this morning and 7:21 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Island
  and docks near Dahlgren.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next two high tides at Goose Bay are at 8:51 AM this
  morning and 9:07 PM this evening. The next two high tides at
  Indian Head are at 12:45 PM this afternoon and 1:01 AM
  overnight. The next two high tides at Dahlgren are at 7:36 AM
  this morning and 8:09 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 4.5 feet, portions of the Havre de Grace Yacht
  Basin are flooded, along with Hutchins Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next two high tides at Havre de Grace are at 2:55 PM
  this afternoon and 2:58 AM overnight.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Southern Baltimore County and the City of
  Baltimore.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 4.25 feet, the concrete promenade at Fells Point
  begins to flood. Water also begins to cover the boardwalk at
  the Maritime Park water taxi stop. Thames Street is flooded,
  and much of the promenade in the Inner Harbor is flooded. At
  3.0 feet, water begins encroaching upon yards in the Bowleys
  Quarters area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next two high tides at Fort McHenry Baltimore are at
  11:08 AM this morning and 12:19 AM overnight.

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Calvert County.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, water is expected to reach backyards
  near 9th Street in North Beach, and could approach 9th Street.
  At 3.5 feet, yards are flooded near Charles Street and
  Williams Street in Solomons. Nearby parking lots and the
  streets themselves are covered by more than a half foot of
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next two high tides at Chesapeake Beach are at 8:21
  AM this morning and 9:32 PM this evening. The next two high
  tides at Solomons Island are at 6:39 AM this morning and 7:38 PM
  this evening.
