For the following areas...
Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD...

At 829 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Turkey Point,
moving east at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots.

SOURCE...Observed wind of 51 knots at Grove Point.

IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher
         wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer
         significant damage in high winds.

Locations impacted include...
Turkey Point, Spesutie Island, and Aberdeen Proving Ground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
