...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL JEFF DAVIS AND
NORTHEASTERN PRESIDIO COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 358 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Bloys Camp, or 15 miles northwest of Marfa, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Davis, Bloys Camp, McDonald Observatory, Camp Mitre Peak, Davis
Mountains State Park, Marfa Municipal Airport, Indian Lodge, and Fort
Davis National Historical Site.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
