...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL BREWSTER COUNTY
THROUGH 730 AM CDT...

At 651 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 22
miles northwest of Persimmon Gap, or 37 miles south of Alpine, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Santiago Peak.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Midland.
