The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Itawamba County in northeastern Mississippi...
  Central Lee County in northeastern Mississippi...

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 639 PM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
  rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Public reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Tupelo, Verona, Tombigbee State Park, Saltillo, Guntown,
  Plantersville, Indian Hills, Beech Springs, Flowerdale, Skyline,
  Frog Island, Belden, Eggville, Bissell, Unity, Chapelville,
  Palmetto and Kirkville.

  Yeager Branch, South Tulip Creek, Louisa Creek, Campbelltown
