490 WGUS84 KMEG 172227 FLSMEG Flood Advisory National Weather Service Memphis TN 527 PM CDT Mon Jun 17 2024 TNC047-157-180130- /O.NEW.KMEG.FA.Y.0061.240617T2227Z-240618T0130Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Fayette TN-Shelby TN- 527 PM CDT Mon Jun 17 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following counties, Fayette and Shelby. * WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 527 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
