Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
317 PM CDT Sun Jun 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A weak cold front will move through the Mid-South tonight. Chances for
showers and thunderstorms will occur ahead of the front. Can`t rule
out an isolated strong or severe thunderstorms. Drier air will filter into
areas of West Tennessee near the Tennessee River and portions of Northeast
Mississippi on Monday as high pressure builds over the Ohio Valley.
High pressure will shift east by Monday Night allowing for hot and humid
conditions to return to the entire Mid-South on Tuesday.
